Academic Program Study Hour FAQs

Common questions from students, program coordinators, and advisors.

How much does CampusStudy cost?

CampusStudy costs $179.99 per year for your program, with unlimited members and every feature included: study timers, approved locations, weekly reports, individual study requirements, and member roles. There are no additional fees.

How do students track independent study time?

Students go to a study location your program has approved, then start a timer in the app. They stop the timer when finished. The app records the session and shows their completed hours and how many they still need for the week.

Can we choose approved campus study locations?

Yes. You choose where students are allowed to log study hours and set a boundary around each location on the map. Students must be inside one of those boundaries to start a timer.

Can students have different study requirements?

Yes. Set a weekly requirement for your program and adjust individual students' hours based on their study needs.

How can advisors use study reports?

Reports show each student's progress toward their weekly goal, plus individual session records. Advisors can review these details with students when discussing study routines or additional support.

Can coordinators and advisors have different access?

Yes. Staff roles let coordinators manage participants and requirements. Advisors can have view-only access to study reports without changing program settings.

How do we invite students?

Create your academic program, add approved campus study spaces, and set weekly study goals. Set an invite code for your program and share it with students. They can download the CampusStudy app and enter the code to join, view their study requirements, and start tracking sessions.
